Hochmat Halev (Wisdom of the Heart) is a non profit organization whose objective is to enhance and strengthen the Jewish identity of the modern Israeli citizen.

Hochmat Halev aspires to develop a community model that will resolve the feelings of individual isolation and the spiritual vacuum that is increasing around the world and in our country.

Exposure to the traditional and cultural roots of the Jewish people, a priceless heritage common to us all, will strengthen the feeling of community and mutual respect in the spirit of the prophets of Israel.

Hochmat Halev was established in 2004 by a group of people who decided to expand their social and spiritual horizons by establishing a community of like minded people to confront basic questions that deal with their existence and their lives as Jews and citizens of the State of Israel.

Hochmat Halev aspires to confront the social and cultural crisis of the State of Israel by establishing a community that endorses the concept of mutual respect and dedication to fellow man, and bridges the gap between the individual citizen and the state of Israel.

This is achieved by strengthening the knowledge of our Jewish heritage and roots and by increasing social responsibility and mutual dedication amongst our people.

Hochmat Halev Activities:

·         Celebration of the Jewish Festivals through personal participation and learning in the framework of the “Havurah”

·         Community activities; members of Hochmat Halev are active in setting up community care and assistance programs in conjunction with appropriate community representatives.

·         Community “Beit Midrash”; an institute for the study and learning of Jewish heritage, philosophy and religious thinking, using an approach appropriate for modern Israelis lacking religious background.

·         Open activities that include Ramat Hasharon Residents.
